Woodparts are a manufacturing company, specializing in the manufacture of a wide range of wooden components for the kitchen & bedroom industries. These components include kitchen cabinet doors in lay-on and in-frame styles, curved kitchen doors, dovetailed drawer boxes, kitchen pilasters, door/spice racks and accessories. We supply directly to the trade and we are based in county laois in the midlands of

. We ship our products to customers all over ireland, the uk and into mainland europe. We batch produce all our products – so this gives us the ability to make all bespoke sizes and styles.
We manufacture our products to our customer’s specifications, so we have the ability, to change the thickness of doors, the width of door stiles, the heights of doors or frames, the curvature of curved doors and so on, to give our customers a unique bespoke product.

Door mounted spice racks are made in various shapes and sizes to suit individual company requirements.
They are supplied either lacquered or in a sanded finish. Our traditional cabinet door mounted spice racks offer convenient kitchen storage. Available in all standard hardwoods including: oak, ash, walnut & mahogany. We have a woodparts range of door/spice racks available or customers can order the racks in their own
design

All of our cabinets use solid plywood box construction. Framed cabinets have solid wood front frames. All collections have soft close doors and soft close full extension drawers standard. Some corner cabinets and spice-pullouts may not be soft close. The door construction varies depending on the door style and is either solid wood, solid wood & medium density fiberboard (mdf) or full mdf. All of our cabinet plywood meets the california air resources board carb2 standards for emissions certification. Due to the natural wood construction, joint and trim fracturing (hairline cracks along joints/trims on the front, back or edge of doors) from handling of doors and/or the natural process of expansion and contraction of the doors during the different seasons of the year is not considered to be defective.

MFC – Melamine Faced Chipboard
Mfc is a manufactured board that is relatively inexpensive yet strong. It has a reputation for being cheap and inferior, but modern manufacturing methods mean it is strong and durable, often a good choice for carcasses, particularly when the cost is an issue. The chipboard core is made from wood waste, paper and sawdust which is coated in a melamine finish. This melamine finish is water-resistant and easy to clean though does have an ‘orange peel’ texture which some find unattractive. Our german suppliers use a very high-quality mfc which has superior structural integrity and avoids the orange peel texture seen in cheaper materials.
